Gouverneur Man Charged With Unlawful Possession of Marijuana

Timothy S. Liscum, 52, 201 Rowley Street, Gouverneur, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana by State Police on Saturday.

He was stopped by State Police on State Route 411 in Lafargeville and was found in possession of one marijuana joint.

He was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear on 5/11 in the Town Of Alexandria Court.

Theresa Man Charged With DWI

On 04/30/10 at 11:24 p.m., stemming from a vehicle stop on County Route 15 in the Town of Alexandria, Mark W. Tillman, 51, 25403 Schneider Rd., Theresa, was arrested by the State Police Alexandria Bay for DWI.

Mr. Tillman was found to have a BAC of .14%. Mr. Tillman was also issued traffic tickets for failing to keep right, unregistered and uninspected Motor Vehicle.

Mr. Tillman is to appear in the Town of Alexandria Court on 05/11/10 at 8:00 p.m. to answer charges.

Four Drivers Charged With DWI

Simon F. Damon, 23, 526 Morrison Street, Watertown, was charged with DWI and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation yesterday by Watertown Police on US Route 11. His BAC was .15 percent. He was held on $250 bail pending arraignment in City Court this morning.

Kyle J. Thompson, 23, 20332 Bagram Road, Apt. 255 was arrested by Watertown Police on Saturday after he struck a fence on S. Meadow Street with his motorcycle. He was charged with DWI, equipment, unregistered motorcycle, no/expired insurance and leaving the scene of an accident. His BAC was .17 percent. He was released to military custody with appearance tickets returnable to City Court on 5/17.

Crystal A. Batts, 19, 3115 Westover Drive, Macon, GA, was charged with DWI, operating without insurance, operating while registration suspended/revoked and speeding 76 in a 55-mph zone by Jefferson County Sheriffs. Her BAC was .09 percent. She is due to answer the charges in Town of Leray Court on 5/10.

Peter E. Bailey V, 19, 880 S. Massey Street Watertown, was charged with DWI by Jefferson County Sheriffs yesterday on State Route 3 in the Town of Pamelia. His BAC was .07 percent. He his due to appear in Hounsfield Town Court on 5/20.

Lafargeville Man Arrested For Threatening Man

Stephen P. Bryant, 41, 20281 County Route 181, Lafargeville was arrested on a criminal summons and charged with second-degree aggravated harassment by Jefferson County Sheriffs. The alleged offense occured on 3/15.

He is accused of stating "I will put a bullet in your head" to Tony Frezzo of Watertown.

He is due in Town of Orleans Court on 5/5 to answer the charge.

Watertown Man Arrested For Assaulting His Girlfriend

Cary W. Lane, 42, 132 Bowers Ave., Apt. 2, Watertown was arrested by Jefferson County Sheriffs yesterday and charged with third-degree assault.

He is accused of pulling his girlfriend, Elizabeth A. Choe, out of bed causing her to hit her head, which required staples.

He is due in Town of Rutland Court on 5/18 to answer the charge.

Four People Accused Of Exposing 10-Month-Old To Marijuana

Wayne A. Redden, Jr., 29, 333 S. Washington Street, Carthage, and Lisa M. Howland, 25, 19 N. Main Street, Carthage, were both charged with 1 count of endangering the welfare of a child by Jefferson County Sheriffs.

David C. Howland, 50, 19 N. Main Street, Carthage, and Tina M. Howland, 46, 19 N. Main Street, Carthage were both charged with 1 count of endangering the welfare of a child and 1 count of unlawful possession of marijuana.

It is alleged that the four permitted a ten-month-old child to be exposed to marijuana use on 4/30.

They are due to appear in Pamelia Town Court on 5/20.
