Four People Accused Of Stealing

Four Watertown residents were arrested by Jefferson County Sheriff deputies on Wednesday at 1:18 am.

Eliesha M. Miner, 26, 140 High Street, Apt. 11, Dustin C. Miner, 24, 819 Bronson Street, Shane M. Knecht, 18, William Street, and Tosha L. Soluri, 32, 622 Bronson Street, were charged with petit larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy.

They allegedly stole 2 packs of ladies underwear, 2 Nintendo Wii games, 2 Wii controllers and 1 Wii Charging Docking station from the Super-Walmart on Route 11 in the Town of Leray.

They were arraigned in Town of Leray Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail on $500 bail.

Watertown Man Accused Of Violating Court Order

Kenneth D. Pleasant, 42, 513 Olive Street, Apt. 2, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt by Watertown police on Thursday.

He is accused of approaching the protected party of a stay away order of protection at the Department of Social Services on Arsenal Street.

He was being held at the Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City Court Friday morning.

Two People Facing DWI Charges

Frederick D. Simpson Jr., 37, 808 Pearl Street, Watertown, was charged with DWI on Monday by Watertown police in the 200 block of Arsenal Street. His BAC was 0.13 percent.

Kevin J. Phelps, 22, 17487 US Route 11, Lot 50N, Watertown was charged with DWI on Canal Street in Dexter by Jefferson County Sheriff deputies on Tuesday at 9:42 pm. His BAC was 0.14 percent.

City Woman Accused Of Pushing Man Down Stairs

Nichole L. Sweet, 24, 1024 Bronson Street, Apt. 1, was arrested by Watertown police at her residence on Tuesday and charged with third-degree assault.

She is accused of pushing Christopher L. Sowers, same address, down the stairs during a domestic dispute, causing a laceration to his left hand that required stitches.

She was being held at the Public Safety Building pending arraignment on Wednesday in City Court.

Police: Man Damaged Laptop

A Watertown man was arrested by Watertown police on Saturday at his residence after he allegedly damaged a laptop belonging to his wife, Angelica M. Cowherd, 156 Winthrop Street, by slamming his foot down on the lid, causing the screen to crack and rendering the laptop inorerable. The item has an estimated value of approximately $600.

Christopher L. Cowherd, 22, same address, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

He was being held by police pending arraignment on Wednesday in City Court.

Man Accused of Driving Under The Influence Of Drugs

Shaun Bridge, 32, 22 Fulton Street, Antwerp, was charged by Jefferson County Sheriff deputies with driving while under the influence of drugs on Monday in the parking lot of Stewarts in Philadelphia.

He is due to answer the charge in Town of Philadelphia Court on August 11.

Teen Charged For Stealing From PX On Fort Drum

Jennifer L. Sessums, 17, 27600 Lafave Road, Watertown, was charged with petit larceny by Jefferson County Sheriff Deputies on Tuesday.

She is accused of stealing a can of Slim Jim's, an iced tea and a bottle of perfume from the Post Exchange.

She was issued an appearance ticket answerable in Town of Leray Court on August 9.
