This Weekend: Halloween Starts Early

Halloween isn't until next weekend, but there are plenty of things going on this weekend to get your kids in the spirit.

Boo At The Zoo
October 23 10am-4pm October 24 10 am-4pm

Come spend a merry not scary Halloween at the Zoo! This two-day Halloween event targeted at children ages 12 and under is a non-scary event for younger children. The event will include a trick o’ treating “trail” which participants follow to pick up healthy treats. As trick o’ treaters travel the trail they will encounter characters from their favorite nursery rhymes and television shows.

New this year—on Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm Radio Disney will be on hand to hand out prizes and host games featuring your favorite Disney stars!

$3 event fee plus regular admission for all non-military, non-Zoo members. $2 event fee for all Zoo members (free admission). $2 event fee plus discounted admission for all Military (must show Military ID).

Creepy Creatures Haunted House
October 23 1:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Bring the family to the Historic Paddock Arcade this weekend and see the transformation of the Paddock into a giant haunted house.

Sponsored by Downtown Business Association and American Kang Duk Won. Admission is $5.

Sackets Harbor Haunted House
October 23 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Visit the Sackets Harbor Central School this weekend for a few chills and thrills. The Sackets Harbor School Sentinels will scare the socks off of you.

Admission is $4. Children ages 12 and younger are $2.
